Bill Glick
President of AllyOne Consulting
With 21 years experience with GE in broadly varying roles and subsequent years with The Commodore Corporation as VP Marketing and Sales, Bill brings a remarkable set of skills to the consulting environment. He has expertise and experience in a broad range of business environments that include Field Engineering, Operations Management, Construction Project Management, Mechanical Contracting, Capital Equipment, Sales, Marketing, Facilitation and the development of strategic alliances.
While with GE, Bill became entrenched in the Productivity Toolkit processes introduced by then CEO Jack Welch. The use of these tools, combined with his thorough understanding of most aspects of the business model allowed him to make a significant impact on a number of innovative situations.
One of the more significant contributions was to create the concept and lead the development of the first contracts in a new form of doing business. In its truest form, this new product is a “behavior based alliance” between corporations in a buyer / seller relationship. He continued to be instrumental in the commercialization of this new product, which in a mass production form, grew to a $7B per year business within 7 years of the initial contracts.
His “from the bottom up” business background combined with his mastery of GE’s Productivity Toolkit has given Bill a unique set of skills that is remarkably valuable in a number of business arenas. These experiences and set of skills allowed him to capture and improve upon processes that have been so successfully implemented by GE, creating AIM (Active Influence Model), a unique method of influencing the decision process during the award of major contracts, and the facilitated development model for Behavior Based Alliances.
His educational background includes Bachelor’s degrees in both Construction and Environmental Biology from Bradley University in Peoria, IL and an MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management in Chicago.
Bill is a member of the Institute of Management Consultants. He is also a Children’s Leader in Bible Study Fellowship (BSF), serves as a board member of the Michiana chapter of Youth for Christ and is an active member of Rotary.
